Is the WiiM Amp powerful enough for bookshelf speakers?

For many passive bookshelf speakers in a small or medium room, yes. The WiiM Amp is rated at 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 120 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Check speaker sensitivity, impedance behavior, room size, and your normal listening level before treating any wattage figure as a guarantee.

Does the WiiM Amp work with a TV?

Yes. Connect the TV's ARC-labelled HDMI port to the WiiM Amp's HDMI ARC input, then set the television's digital-audio output to PCM stereo. The WiiM Amp does not decode Dolby or DTS through HDMI ARC or optical, so an automatic bitstream setting can prevent proper audio playback.

Can I connect a turntable directly to the WiiM Amp?

Only if the turntable already provides a line-level output through a built-in phono preamp. Otherwise, place an external phono preamp between the turntable and the WiiM Amp's analog line input. The WiiM Amp does not include a dedicated phono input.

Can the WiiM Amp play music in more than one room?

It can join compatible network-audio groups through the WiiM ecosystem and supported streaming platforms. The exact grouping options depend on the services and devices in use, so check that your other speakers or streamers support the same protocol before planning a whole-home setup.
